  1. Who is CONECT designed for?  CONECT is designed to:

Serve church leaders who are passionate about seeing their city transformed.  Transformation can be described as seeing measurable change in activities that express sin (such as crime rates) as well as church growth in many churches in the community.

Serve church leaders who are overwhelmed with the volume of information, prayer requests, praise reports, watchman reports, etc.

  2. What is CONECT?  CONECT is the Christian Outreach Network Establishing City-wide Teamwork.  It is a few simple concepts based upon some major principles of warfare that are Biblically based.  The goal of CONECT is to:

    Build a Wall of Prayer

Establish the Watch of the Lord

These two actions help establish a strong base of operations in a local church or the church in a city.

    Establish a Strategic Communication Center

Equip leaders to think and act strategically by providing training on the Biblical Principles of Corporate Spiritual Warfare.

  3. How does CONECT serve church leaders?  It serves church leaders in two ways.

First, it provides leaders with training on the Biblical Principles of Corporate Spiritual Warfare.  These are the same major principles taught to professional military leaders over the last 2500 years. They worked because they are Biblically based.  Church leaders desiring to learn to think and act strategically will benefit.

Second, CONECT trains and equips others to serve the leadership by providing them with the tools and training to administrate CONECT for the leadership.

  4. Is CONECT complicated?  No.

The concepts are simple and the practical application or process is less complicated than the processes used in local churches to steward their finances.  It just takes a little time and effort to set it up initially.  The only people requiring on going training would be the CONECTer’s in a city or the Communication Center Coordinator found in each local church.   Watchman Ministries Int. would provide ongoing training and support for these people. The goal is to assist leaders in being good stewards of their people’s time, effort and reports generated through increased prayer.

  5. Who would benefit from CONECT?  Any local church or group of Christians desiring to build teamwork or work better together would benefit from applying any number of aspects of CONECT.

  1. Do I have to implement the whole thing or can I implement only part of CONECT?

Build the wall of prayer (recommended for all)

Set a watch (from 1 hour to 24 hours a day)

Spy out the land or gather spiritual intelligence via intercession, prayer walks or research

Assign a Communication Center Coordinator to administrate the watch and to consolidate reports generated via increased prayer and presenting a consolidated report to leaders on a regular basis.

Train your leaders in the Biblical Principles of Corporate Spiritual Warfare

We offer 3 courses in our War College to Train watchmen, intercessors, leaders, Communication Center Coordinators and CONECTers.  Check out WMI's Spiritual War College for an overview.

  2. Is a computer required?  No.  However, a computer can be very helpful.  CONECT is a concept of stewardship.  The idea is to assist leaders in gathering the reports or spiritual intelligence generated through increased prayer of their people.  Then, those reports are consolidated into a concise overview so as always keep leaders informed of the spiritual condition of their people and the spiritual opposition arrayed against their vision or assignment.  In its simplest form, CONECT can be administrated out of a notebook.  It is recommended that an up and coming leader who is faithful and loyal be assigned the responsibility to administrate CONECT in a local church.  If CONECT is to be implemented in a city with numerous local churches participating, then it is recommended that a leader be chosen who is faithful and has a heart to serve the church in their city.

  1. How do I implement CONECT?  There are three ways.

First, you can request a CONECTing the Church Conference in your local church or for churches in your city.

Second, you can complete our Certified CONECTer/Communication Center Coordinator Training through WMI's Spiritual War College.

Third, you can contact us directly for consultation.

  2. Who does WMI want to work with?

We greatly desire to work with the church leaders who are responsible for a city or a region.

We expect to disciple a CONECTer in each city who will administrate CONECT on a citywide level and provide consolidated spiritual intelligence reports to the church leaders in that city.   The CONECTer will provide support and training as local churches in a city choose to join with you in taking your city for Christ.  Our goal is to equip this individual so that they can train personnel (Communication Center Coordinators) in other local churches to support their leadership just as the CONECTer supports the leadership in a city.

  3. How do I implement CONECT in my church of city?

There are three ways to implement CONECT.  You can host a "CONECTing the Church Conference," you can enroll in WMI's Spiritual War College Certified CONECTer Course or you can consult with us regarding an alternative.  Go to 4 Steps to Implement CONECT or check out our Certified CONECTer Course in our War College.  The actual concept is very simple and effective but it will take time to get people working well together.  Therefore, WMI seeks to disciple or mentor a Communications Center Coordinator in each local church and a CONECTer in each city.

The apostolic reformation will see apostles, prophets, and the fivefold ministry working together like never before, building a wall of prayer and restoring the Tabernacle of David.  EncourageU and CONECT are for the equipping of the saints and to facilitate corporate teamwork in the Body of Christ.  All scripture quotations, not otherwise indicated are from the New King James Version: Copyright © 1982 by Thomas Nelson, Inc.
