for war, you need to know your enemy's capability and disposition

Ephesians
3:10 to the intent that the manifold wisdom of God might be made
known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly
places,
What is the condition of your city
spiritually speaking? Does wickedness and injustice abound?
What is the condition of the church in a city? Are churches
growing and impacting their communities or are they struggling?
Are the leaders and pastors of local congregations in fellowship
with one another and working together to see the wisdom of God
displayed to your city? You know crime rates, poverty levels,
injustice and church growth are natural representations of what is
in the spiritual realm.
Do
you know what God's purpose is for the church in your city?
What is God's redemptive plan for your city? What is God's
plan for your nation? Are you aware of what the specific
strategy is of principalities and powers that oppose the church in
your city? Do you know what the strategy is of the demonic
forces opposing your local church? Are you focusing only on
the fruit or have you discerned what the root of those strongholds
are? Where did they come from historically?
1 Corinthians 12:14 For in fact
the body is not one member but many.
Every local congregation in a city
is unique displaying various aspects and God's love and concern.
Some congregations excel in outreach to the poor, some excel in
evangelism, some
in pastoral care, others in the prophetic, some in worship and the
list could go on and on. So who is responsible for the
spiritual condition of the city? Is it not the local churches
in that city? One local church by themselves will be
hard pressed to change a city, but local churches working together
first in prayer are sure to affect change in the heavenlies and in
the city.
There is a revelation coming forth
in these days that God is called Lord of the Hosts (armies) over 245
times in the Word of God. That is 3 times more than any other
name God is called by. With that revelation will come a change
in the way we in the body of Christ will view not only our call but
the way in which we work together. We'll begin to apply the
principles of warfare that have been taught for over 2500 years to
professional military officers. It just so happens that all of
the major principles used to plan and execute war are Biblically
based. I refer to them as the Biblical Principles of Corporate
Spiritual Warfare.
There has been a great
emphasis in the last 2 decades on spiritual warfare.
Every Christian should be equipped and know how to use their
spiritual weapons. However, we are not alone. We
are our brother's keeper. There is multiplied
effectiveness when we work together. We are called to be
part of an army made up of many (Ezekiel 37 & Joel
2). It is to this end that CONECT exists.
